Anthony L. Cook, D.M.D., P.C.
Orthodontist Dr. Anthony L. Cook went to college at Temple University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He attended Temple University School of Dentistry, earning his D.M.D. degree. He then pursued a one-year residency program in dentistry at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He returned to Temple University School of Dentistry to complete a residency in orthodontics, receiving a Certificate in Orthodontics. He is a former assistant professor in the Department of Orthodontics at Temple University. He has been in private practice at an orthodontic office for more than 25 years.
Dr. Cook gives presentations to dentists and other dental specialists about advancements in orthodontics and how orthodontics can enhance the outcome of other dental work. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Greater Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Dental Society of Chester and Delaware Counties, Main Line Dental Society, and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. He attends multiple continuing education events each year to keep up with the latest advancements and innovations in orthodontics.
Dr. Cook has been recognized as one of Philadelphia’s Top Rated dentists by Philadelphia Magazine from 2010 to present. He has also been recognized as a Top Rated Dentist by Main Line Today from 2004 to present. He is the official orthodontist for the Philadelphia 76ers.
Dr. Cook devotes his full time to his private orthodontic office practice in Springfield, Pennsylvania. He is a native of Philadelphia. He and his wife, Lisa, have two sets of twins, Anthony and Emily, who are 14 years old, and Caroline and Eva, who are 5 years old. He enjoys vacationing in Cape May with his wife and children. He is active in the education and sports activities of his children and loves spending time with his family.
Patricia D. Gutsche, D.M.D., M.S.D.
Orthodontist Dr. Patricia Dunn Gutsche attended college at the University of Rochester, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She earned a D.M.D. degree from Temple University School of Dentistry. She continued her studies at Temple University School of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics, graduating with a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry. She has been in

Dr. Gutsche and her husband have a daughter and son in middle school. She volunteers with a local open land conservation group. She spends her free time hiking, enjoying the outdoors and following her children’s sports and activities. She grew up in New York, near the Canadian border, but has lived in the Philadelphia area for over 25 years, and her husband was raised here.

We provide our patients with high-quality, personalized care in a friendly, clean and professional environment. We use state-of-the-art technology, including Damon® braces, Invisalign® and computer imaging. Our Clinical Technicians are highly trained and knowledgeable, having been with us from 7-25 years. Each patient receives personal attention from Dr. Cook or Dr. Gutsche at every visit. We strive to make each visit a pleasant and enjoyable experience!
Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Consultations are available during
the evenings and on Fridays.
Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a courtesy to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.
We strive to provide you with affordable, high-quality treatment that fits your budget! Your treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees, and we will inform you of all costs before treatment is administered.
We offer a variety of payment options to meet your needs. Our office accepts payments by cash, check, and Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover credit cards. We can also arrange automatic debit from your account for your convenience. Third-party financing options are also available for patients who desire more flexibility in making financial arrangements.

For patients who require more flexibility in payment options, we also work with CareCredit. These flexible payment options allow you to pay for your treatment over a period of time so you can focus on what matters most – keeping your smile healthy!
If your insurance covers orthodontic treatment, you will receive the benefit of reduced personal costs. Many insurance policies have a lifetime orthodontic benefit that is distinct from regular dental insurance. We participate with many insurance plans, and we would be happy to contact your insurance company to determine your benefits.
We are a preferred provider for Aetna, Cigna, Delta Dental, DenteMax, Fidelio, Guardian, MetLife, United Concordia, and United Healthcare.
Once treatment has started, we will file your claims. To help us with your insurance filing, please complete the insurance questions on our questionnaire. Please remember that orthodontic insurance is a benefit for you or your child. If during the course of treatment, your benefits change, the financially responsible party is accountable for all charges.
